Estuary Experience

This programme lasts approximately 3 hours, and its main aim is to introduce you to the interior of the estuary. To this end, we will first head towards the Mourisca Tidal Mill, where we will stop for 30 minutes to visit the mill and enjoy the terrace and the surrounding area. After the stop, we’ll return to the heart of the estuary, where we can see Ilha do Cavalo (a paradise for the waterbirds that live there or are just passing through). We will then head to the Carrasqueira stilted jetty (the largest and most iconic in the estuary) and, finally, on our return to the marina, we will be able to see the Roman ruins of Tróia, next to Caldeira.
